On February 3, 1997, BU’s Tommi Degerman beat the Harvard defense for a goal in a 7-1 first-round Beanpot win. Degerman, a right wing from Helsinki, played four years for the Terriers, scoring 49 goals, and was captain in his senior year. He was drafted by the Mighty Ducks, and went on to play two seasons in the ECHL.
