2012 International Nursing Service Project to the Philippines
During the first International Nursing Service Project to the Philippines, two Addison students were able to see a birth by a midwife. This baby was the fourth child for the family. The mother wanted an American name and named the baby after them... Erin Kelley. A big welcome to the newest member of our Chamberlain family!! Thank you to Gigi Melendez for sharing this incredible story.

Tomorrow marks the American Heart Association’s Wear Red for Women Day! We hope you’ll join the cause to dispel myths and raise awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women:

Fight Heart Disease in Women — Go Red For Women
www.goredforwomen.org
Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. Women just like us – mothers, sisters, friends – are dying at the rate of one per minute because they don’t know what I know: heart disease kills.
