Widener leadership works with Brent Staples, ‘73, New York Times editorial writer and author of Parallel Time: Growing up in Black and White and An American Love Story. While on campus, Staples, along with his cousin Muhammad Ahmed, ’73, founded the Black Student Union, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2010. Congrats to Micki Davis for guessing Staples as last week's Widener leader.
