WIDENER LEADERSHIP WORKS: This 2007 alumnus made history during his time in Track and Field at Widener. A science major, he founded the nonprofit organization Sorghum Field Project in 2009 for which the Track and Field team recently raised over $8,000. Who is he?

WIDENER TRIVIA ANSWER: This week's Widener trivia question asked the popular name of the building at 522 E. 14th Street which is currently home to Academic Support Services. The answer is the Pineapple House which has the design of a pineapple, the universal symbol for hospitality and welcome, on its front door. Nicole C. Peniston and Jeanine Mbaeri knew the correct answer.

A Point of Pride: Widener is home to one of the world's leading scholars on poet William Wordsworth: Dr. Daniel Robinson, professor of English. Robinson recently signed a contract with the distinguished Oxford University Press to co-edit The Oxford Handbook of William Wordsworth, which will be a 900-page resource for scholars and students. Robinson will complete the handbook next spring in addition to a book on Wordsworth's sonnets. Next month, he'll travel to England as an invited lecturer at the Wordsworth Winter School.
